Aspiring SWE based in the Bay Area
Hi, my name is Jayrell and I am a Computer Engineering graduate from the University of California, Irvine. After graduating in 2021, I briefly worked as an IT Support Specialist / Helpdesk Technician for ComputerCare in San Francisco. I realized, however, that coding is what I enjoy doing the most and am now looking for a software engineering or related role. I hope to hone my skills as a software engineer in order to help solve problems, big or small.
I am very passionate about learning new things. A few of the languages that I am currently familiar with are Python, Java, C, and C++. More recently, I have been attempting to learn HTML, CSS, and JavaScript in order to build this portfolio!

Monitored a queue with 100+ incoming tickets per day via Jira; managed 1000+ endpoints via Jamf, Windows AD, and Chef; provisioned applications via Okta; reimaged devices; resolved Wi-Fi and VPN issues; assisted system engineers in testing system updates
Assisted the ComputerCare Operations and Systems team in debugging Python programs
